I love food. Healthy food. Fresh food. Good for you body and soul food. I like to read about it, look at it, eat it. But. I have a confession to make. I don’t like to cook. No. I am not a cook. I have always had boyfriends who were all great cooks. Now my man is a Real cook. Bless him. So. No cooking for me (trust me it’s better that way..).
But I like to make juices..

At this time in Holland the fall is kicking in and we’re already heading for winter. Iep. I feel like a little bear going for his long winter sleep.. Time for one of Kris her juices.
Make Juice. Not War. Green Drink.
A quick note, if you are interested, here are some of the benefits of green veggies: they have a lot of vitamins, minerals and fibers. With green veggies it is easier for you body to take oxygen and at the same time it detoxifies. Help to cleanse your kidneys. Improves your blood composition so the repair of your cells is faster. Immune system is growing stronger.
Enough said. Getting started:
2 large cucumbers (peeled if not organic)
big fistful of kale
big fistful of sweet pea sprouts
4 – 5 stalks celery
1 – 2 big broccoli stems
1 pear or green apple (optional)
1 inch of ginger (or less)
Maybe green is not your favorite color.. But hey, close your eyes. Take a sip, your cells are cheering. It tastes good, and you will feel good too.
Here’s to a green & strong, winter..
